Christophe Mignon has six hectares in and around the village of Festigny, in the Marne Valley. Most of his time is spent out in the vineyards, mostly planted to Pinot Meunier. Formerly a member of the ‘Groupe des jeunes viticulteurs de Champagne’, Christophe Mignon follows its charter, launched in 1997, which pledged to reduce the amount of herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilisers in the soil. With respect for the environment, and working to the highest standards, Christophe Mignon blends and balances organic and biodynamic techniques before applying his wine making knowledge in the cellars. This commitment and know-how is reflected in the high quality of his champagne.
As sole UK importer of his champagnes Henry George Wines is pleased to share the secret of the Christophe Mignon Brut Non Vintage and Christophe Mignon Rose Non Vintage champagnes.
