So much has been written about Champagne Vilmart that one is in danger of running out of superlatives.
Almost two decades ago, Tom Stevenson, one of the world's leading authorities on Champagne, started to notice the potential of the Vilmart estate, and later described the 1990 Coeur de Cuvee as " one of the three greatest Champagnes made in the last 25 years". The other two were both Krug!
We are delighted to report that standards at Vilmart are as high as ever. Laurent Champs continues to innovate, experiment and learn.
