Benoit Tarlant
Champagne Tarlant is based in the little village of Oeuilly, just a few minutes drive west out of Epernay along the D3.
Benoît Tarlant took over the reins of the Tarlant estate just before the turn of the century, and has raised its profile to the extent that it is now one of the world's best known grower champagnes.
This is in no small part due to his larger than life character and his willingness to get involved in promoting the cause. He's a major player in the group 'Terres et Vins de Champagne', a collection of rising stars who exhibit each spring in Äy.
He also makes some fabulous champagnes, and we've chosen two cuvées which represent exciting examples of his vast array of offerings.
