BLAUER SPATBURGUNDER 2009 (Dry) Pinot Noir
A lightly oaked red wine made from the Pinot Noir grape which gives subtle hints of vanilla and tobacco on the nose. The aromas on the nose continue to the palate and combine with gentle flavours of berries to produce a well balanced wine with a little acidity and a long finish with spicy hints of black pepper so often found in a good Pinot Noir. This wine combines well with all smoked food and can be enjoyed at both room temperature or also lightly chilled if desired. This is a great option if intending to drink over lunchtime!
