DORNFELDER 2007 QbA Dry (Organic) Dornfelder
This wine is generally considered to be a more full bodied example of a cool climate red wine grown in a well drained vineyard with good minerality. Placed in oak barrels, this creates a good balance between oak and fruit and produces a smooth sociable wine. This particular vintage has a very clear dark ruby colour with a typical aroma of cherries. It combines wonderfully with well flavoured food and provides a great accompaniment to the “Italian Kitchen” in particular. Also benefits from decanting.
