Pascal Doquet Rose Premier Cru £24.75
Pascal Doquet's Rosé comes mostly from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Southern side of Premier Cru village Vertus, on the Côte des Blancs, and from the Mont Aimé region.
Pascal uses a highly complicated method of production which uses several vintages of reserve wine, some of it being macerated Pinot Noir and some Chardonnay.
There's no mistaking the Pinot Noir flavours, which hit you with strawberry fruit aromas as soon as you pop the cork.
