Veuve Olivier Rose de Saignee £22.45
The result of a short maceration of the grapeskins, with the juice giving it it's colour, this rosé de saignée comes from 40 year old vines.
On the nose, delicate aromas of fresh fruits, redcurrants and strawberry.
In the mouth, this powerful, winey and well built champagne can equally accompany stir fried scallops or exotic dishes as well as red fruit based desserts.
One third Pinot Noir and two thirds Pinot Meunier.
