This is the non-vintage staple of Christophe’s range, coming from his vineyards in Festigny and Le Breuil. As always here, the non-vintage is an equal blend of the current harvest and the preceding one, aged for up to 2 years before disgorgement and then balanced by an added 2-5g/l of sugar.
The nose offers all the characteristics that would be expected from a 100% Pinot Meunier, full of summer fruit and honey, leading to a beautifully rich and satisfying palate which is expertly balanced with a bracing acidity and a long and dry finish.
