This area may be known principally for its Pinot Noir but Jean Laurent has made a name for himself with the quality of the champagne produced here from Chardonnay.
This is a blend of the harvests of 2018 and the four previous years which was bottled in 2019 before spending 3 years on its lees.
It makes the perfect aperitif, the pleasant nose marrying white fruit and creamy notes. The palate evokes dried fruits and is animated by a pleasant liveliness.
