Jean Laurent Champagne

Third generation vigneron Jean Laurent makes champagnes rich in aromas and full of flavour at his 14 hectare estate in and around Celles-sur-Ource, south of Troyes in the Côte des Bar.

Jean attaches particular importance to sustainable development and renewable energy, which is supplied to the winery via solar panels. In addition, rainwater is collected to carry out vine treatments and to wash the soil.

His non-vintages, which are invariably single varietals, either 100% Pinot Noir or 100% Chardonnay, always include the fruits of 4 to 5 years harvests. His vintages enjoy extra-long ageing in the cellar, imparting exceptional richness and complexity due to the extended lees contact.

He is particularly renowned for his celebrated collection of old vintages, which we fully intend to plunder and make available in the very near future!
