Jean Laurent Blanc de Blancs 2009 Vintage

Jean Laurent releases his vintages much later than most other winemakers in Champagne, but you can be sure that they’re ready when he does. This shows the character that we normally associate with the Blanc de Blancs from this producer and whereas some would say that Chardonnay is just a support act in these parts, here it certainly takes centre stage. The beautiful golden mousse and captivating aroma give way to a mouth full of rich depth and complexity, but with a perfect balance of freshness. When the drinking window may close is a matter of conjecture but that’s academic anyway, as only 508 cases were made!

  • Composition: 100% Chardonnay
  • Added sugar: 5 g/l
  • Grapes harvested: 2008
  • Date of disgorgement: March 2021

Please note that the current photo that we have for this cuvee shows the year 2000 on the label and is for illustrative purposes only.
